My name is Lawrence Joseph Blake, and I’m a photographer who’s been taking photos of Europe since my first trip there in 1990. For that initial visit to France and Italy, with my first Nikon camera I produced some beautiful photos.

One of the things I tried to focus on during my trip was avoiding the typical tourist photo. This meant that I’d only manage to get one or two usable pictures that I liked from a reel of film!

So, I kept on travelling.

I next went to Europe in 2004 with a Nikon F-6, this time bringing my young family along too. This trip was much more fruitful. Prints on canvas were just starting to take off, meaning I managed to get shops to sell my photos.

Now I use a Nikon D810. While I do appreciate the advantages of digital, I think I’ll always use film in some capacity.

Give me a call or send me an email if you’d like to talk.
